A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be……….( something I actually did)..
Make breakfast in bed for him. Then I made a trail of Hershey kisses to the bed, I had a cute picture frame and I blew up some pictures up of us and put them on the bed.I had candles surrounding us and rose petals on the bed.I then had a nice bubble bath set up for us.For dinner I made his favorite garlic chicken but I also made heart shaped grilled cheese with it,another favorite of his. I had the table set up nicely with a cute center piece and candles.I also put a bowl of valentine m&m’s on the table.yum.
After we were done eating we watched a romantic movie and I gave him a nice body rub. He was so happy and couldn’t believe all I did for him that day.:)

  2. Tara says:

The most romantic thing I could do for Valentine’s Day this year would be to show my husband how much he’s appreciated. I’ve been on pregnancy bedrest for months, and while it’s no picnic for me, it’s easy to forget how much of the burden HE has taken on in terms of errand running, dog walking, housecleaning, bringing home food, and the like.

  3. Jennifer says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be……….Have the kids at the baby sitter! A nice evening out with a dinner and a movie..then go back home where I have all his favorite stuff in a gift basket..then watch a nice move cuddled up

  4. Larkin Hepburn says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be to first have my 4 year old daughter help me make my wifes favorite breakfast of pancakes and eggs, with a side of fresh strawberrys and warm melted chocolate on top !!! Then treat her to the best day spa in town where they pamper and treat her like the beautiful woman that she is !!! later that evening, we both dress for dinner and dancing !! topped off with a night of passion, “La vida loca”, enjoying life , love and good conversation with my love….!

  5. Carol Gillogly says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my Valentine would be ….to remind him I love him every day, and forever. I would hide notes in the pocket of a jacket or clothing, in his wallet, everywhere I know he would check on February 14!

  6. Laura says:

A romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be…to get our four kids to be a bit earlier and just leave the mess, washing and ironing for one night so that we could enjoy some quality time together. We could finally enjoy a special bottle of bubbly we’ve been saving for the right moment and just talk about us rather than kids and work! No television, no computers, no iPods, no games consoles, nothing but the sound of our voices and the occasional “clink” of our bubbly glasses! A lovely quiet night would be just the thing for the two of us to help us reconnect and enjoy each others company, something that is so important for couples to do.

    Happy Valentines Day to all!

  7. DEBIJOT says:

I would gas up the Jeep, pack lunch and grab the quilts. The mountains are less than an hour from us. We would take off and end up anywhere with a beautiful vista to gaze upon. An entire day of hiking, lunching and enjoying each other sounds blissful.

  8. Cheated and Lied to says:

Finding a romantic thing to do for my wife this year may be hard to do. We have been apart for about a month which i had decided to leave her for her cheating on our 8 year marriage for almost 2 years. We are going to spend the weekend together of valentines day, and talk things over. I have a teddy bear that is small, and was thinking some chocolates. I have already sent her flowers, as a reconciliation thing, and seeing as how she is going to be visiting Milwaukee from California, flowers might not be the best gift as she would have to take them back which might be a hassle. Really my plan is for her to come here and show me how much I mean to her, and that i am the only man for her, as I feel that is needed to show me she really wants to be forgiven, and taken back. Sorry for the bummer of a post, i wish all well for everyone else. Best thing you can do for your other is tell them you love them, hug them hard and tight, tell them what you need from them, and that they are the only ever for you.

  9. Parker says:

Flowers say alot more then most people think. Picked only in their prime they remind us of the simple beauties and joys of life. They show how mother nature does not strain to grow things of such great beauty and that their existence enriches life of all things around them.

Like everything in life, flowers will eventually wilt and wither but they serve as reminders that life is precious and fleeting; to let love rise above every argument, mean I love you everytime you say it, and lean more into every hug and kiss as if it were your last.

They say your life flashes before your eyes when your close to a moment where it could all be taken away, I think its also true when your close to a moment where you could be complete.
You know those random moments where you catch each other’s eyes no matter what time or where you are and a rush of emotion floods through, and we kiss. My life does flash through my eyes, not only everything we have been through but everything we will become.

So when I think about what I will be doing with my Valentine together, probably a whole lotta nothing but a whole lotta everything at the same time.

  10. Andrew says:

Flower is such a universal language to express love and care and it’s timeless.
    Happy Valentine everyone!

  11. Asok Kurup says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be to wake her up with a kiss, prepare her favourite ham and egg sandwich, and take her for a little walk by the beach, just like how we used to before all the kids came along. A lazy satay chicken lunch by the breezy beach would be followed by a little dance lesson for the both of us (Bollywood style, no less!). Before the day ends, I will take her to a quiet corner in our little haunt (not all secrets will be divulged here!) and put my massage skills to test by pampering her soothingly. Then I shall pop a little dark chocolate into her mouth to remind her that she is my one and only valentine, my dearest wife and mother of our three darling boys!

  12. Maged says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my Valentine would be: First to get a nice bouquet of roses, a bottle of champagne and a lovely romantic gift (mostly a golden present) nicely wrapped.
But before giving it to her, I shall tell her that due to the busy day, I totally forgot that it was valentine’s day, but then and before she gets angry, I just show her the bouquet, then the champagne a kiss then my gift. Also will tell her how much I am deeply in love with her and how much our love is growing with time. Then we shall have a romantic lunch/dinner with no kids, no mobiles noone else but the 2 of us.

  13. Long distance says:

Turn up at her doorstep and whisk her away for the weekend. We live 3,700 miles apart and only see each other a few times a year. We’re getting married in August! =) Alternatively, I could have flowers delivered on the hour every hour for the entire day!

  14. Brian says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be……….to fly thousands of miles halfway around the world to surprise my love with flowers in hand (she works at an airport). I would wait for her to get off work, and spend the rest of the day with her and then fall asleep with her in my arms.

  15. Danny Palad says:

To propose to my wife to have the much awaited church wedding end of March this year (during my vacation) and make our three kids part of it. The youngest daughter will be the flower girl, my son and daughter will knot the cord to both of us.

  16. Aidan says:

Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. That’s relativity.

Shopping is better than sex. At least if you’re not satisfied, you can exchange it for something you really like.

  17. Glen Delaney says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be……….
to tell her about the plane flight I have booked to go see and her for three and a half weeks in Georgia over Easter. Two months before she comes back home in the Summer.

  18. Make a mixed tape of cheesy 80s love songs!!!

  19. Mohamed Saied says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would starting the day by giving her a single red rose and a short love note when she wake. and I’ll cooks breakfast for her , i’ll Place a small love coupon next to the plate that gives her the gift .
Planning a special activity that includes me and her. It doesn’t matter if it’s rock climbing, swimming at the beach, dancing, hiking or a bike ride.

  20. Ian says:

Unfortunatley I am separated from my Valentine by several thousand miles this Valentines Day, but I would love to have her room decorated in rose petals and pictures of us with our favourite song playing when she returns home from work. ‘Our song’ is quite a romantic one – “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, but we also have “Our House in the Middle of the Street” as our ‘silly’ song! So I would have the two songs mixed by a professional DJ to make her smile and laugh at the same time! Also, if I had the cash to be there with her, I would love then to knock on her door and ask her and say that I heard out songs playing and ask if I could come in….

  21. jim says:

The place would need to be set before she arrived. Low light, candles, flowers to add to the atmosphere. I would begin with dinner. Whatever her favorite was should be made. Then I would have an activity we both enjoy together and that doesn’t detract from the mood (movie, etc). Finally, a massage done with care and a dedicated amount of time. After that, whatever the night brings!

  22. Aditi says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be……….surprise him with a paid pilot flying lesson (he’s always wanted to be a pilot) so that he can be sweeped off the ground around the clouds on top of the world with me on Valentines day.

  23. Martin says:

A romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be… to make breakfast in bed for her. I would bring her at the same time flowers and a present: a music box. In the music box, there would be a few chocolates, seeds for a sunflower and a note with a few words to tell her how much I care about her and tell her she’s in my heart like the sun in the sky. Shining so bright that she hides any other stars. Last thing that would be in the music box, a flight ticket. So we would then take the plane to go to Athens. We would walk along the streets of the old city and having lunch in a restaurant with view over the city. In the evening, I would take her to a very famous place of Athens to have dinner before going not far from Parthenon in a very romantic place and play the guitar for her. We would end the day in a nice hotel room, and I would tell her and show her how much I love her.

  24. Carole says:

well it’ll be the first valentine for me and my husband as we got married the last summer! i’m thinking of taking dinner and go to the beach, ( i know a place where only two of us will be there) have a romantic dinner, chat, have a walk and then go home and celebrate it in another way…..

  25. Ryan Maturi says:

Wow you guys have a really nice site, my fiancee enjoyed the flowers and chocolates. and really loved the bear i got her. thank you guys for helping me to make my dream come true. i love her with all my heart and if i win free flowers for her that would be awesome 🙂

  26. Lone Austin says:

I will make reservations at our favorite little Italien restaurant for dinner. Then whisk him off to the nearby hotel which has a jaccusi in the room. I will of course have packed a small cooler with wine, strawberries and chocolate truffles to take along. In my hobo bag there will be plenty of room to pack massage oil, a cute little something to wear and my small cd player for romantic music.

  27. HASAN ALICI says:

I love this service to reach my romantic lover despite the great distance between us!

    Dear Flora2000:

This day, I would promise my wife, this Valentine’s Day, that I will be with her always in happy and sad times, being rich or poor, or have food or no food, under one roof, no matter what. I will never cheat her or be unfaithful to her. No matter what, I will never lie to her but put my words carefully so she knows the truth in a subtle way.

Very importantly, I want to let her know, that I am serious of this marriage and she is already part of my family.

  33. A Romantic thing I would do for my Valentine would be ….to kiss my Fiancee and give her a gift.

  34. Julius says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be………. to send my wife a very romantic floral arrangement to be delivered on the valentine day and a supprise visit that same day without her having any clues of my visiting even after speaking to her that same day, since she will be residing in a different location for that period.

  35. Jasmina says:

A romantic thing I would do for my husband will be…
I am giving him calendar with our pictures. I made calendar for him & her, with small things to do on daily basis to remind us on how lucky we are to be together. Our marriage is very strong but like everyone else we put family as priority, basketball games for kid, work, friends and then we only have few moments left for us. He does not need Valentine to tell me that he loves me – his favorite words. Finally I am listening – I will tell him that I love him each and every day by being there for him, after long day to rub his back, by preparing his favorite meal, by joining him in hardware store occasionaly ( he did it for me even that he does not like mall), by teasing him, by making him fall in love with me all over this year.
This Valentine I will take him to our favorite place to eat, and this will be 1st day of me investing most of my energy in love. In past 12 years I gave everything for my daughter, career, friends, in laws and he was there next to me to support. This year will be all about us – I want to create memories so we can talk about this year for years to come.
My goal is to win his heart all over again each and every day of Valentine Year 2009.

  36. carey says:

I will do small things all day that I know he will enjoy. Have our kids at a sitter and spend the day together doing whatever makes us happy together. Never know….live in the moment!

  37. J A Simons says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be……….
To say that ‘I love you’ while hanging from a tree.
Or make burgers shaped like hearts.
Or to suppress the urge to fart
When under the covers snuggling with my lover.

  38. Valentines Day means more this year then any in my life. My long time sweetheart of 36 years is no longer with me. I will miss all the times I had to give her flowers, cuddies and chocolates. My life must go on and this will give me a chance to improve my search for a new love in my life. Thank you Flora for always being there everytime and on time My hope for new love in my future will be bright with your help. Richard.

  39. Harry Plichta says:

The most romantic thing I would do, if I could, would fly to her and take her to a warm far off tropical island, cup her face at sunset on the beach and gaze into her soft brown loving eyes, brush back the hair on her face and slowly press my warm lips against hers, tell her I love her in every language I know, hold her in my arms and let her know she is loved beyond anything in this world.

  40. Michael Walters says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be……….
to surprise her early in the morning with a proper breakfast. We’re both in college, so it’s difficult to eat right, or to show my appreciation by cooking for her. After that, I would leave a trail of roses and tulips to the bathroom, where a nice warm bath filled with relaxation beads would already be in place, complete with a bouquet of flowers and candles. Because the 14th falls on a Saturday this year, I would also like to take her out snowshoeing to this gorgeous place nearby that I know, where the waterfalls have frozen and have become a gorgeous plateau. At the end of the day, I’d like to come back to the house, cuddle close, and stay warm as we watch our favorite movies together.
