A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be … hmmm… surprise her this coming valentine… its our first valentine together… we are in a long distance relationship and i will fly to be with her… and to be honest I actually asked her this question a week? or so… and she said that every little thing i do or say is romantic enough for her… and she gets something from me that she never could imagine that she will get… contentment… and to be loved and cared about unconditionally. I have to admit that she is more romantic than me. She makes me fall in love with her every single day. There isn’t an easy way to describe how i’m feeling and words aren’t sufficient enough to put into description how i feel towards her. There’s no other love like hers. So what was the question again? haha. I’m actually practicing the song she wants me to sing. And I will sing it to her on valentines day. Wish me Luck! 😀

A romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be to write a poem, short and to the point, to be delivered with the flowers because we are on opposite sides of the world.

I thank my God in heaven above,
for I am blessed with one true love.

  6. Andy In California says:

The most romantic thing I could do for the love of my life is get on a plane and fly 9000 miles to Davao City, Philippines. Intercept your delivery person and be the one to hand the flowers, candy and teddy bear personally to my fiance. We are getting married in August and I just got back from there two weeks ago but does not matter. In reality this will be our last Valentines Day apart so beings her night are my days, I will take the day off and be with her on line and the phone day and night. It will still be your job to make sure she receives her flowers.

  7. Savannah says:

For my Valentine i am plannin on picking her up early from daycare. My Valentine is my 21 month old daughter. 🙁 My boyfriend broke up with me about a month ago, because he told me he couldn’t love my daughter. So i am going to make her the luckiest baby alive. We are going to bake cookies, maybe go sledding, we just got some really good snow. I plan on making her her favorite dinner, might get a couple daisies for her to play with. I also bought a huge teddy bear that says ‘This Valentines day you are all that matters to someone special.’ My little dali is my heart and soul and even though i won’t be spending a romantic evening with my significant other i can show my love in a totally different way with my baby girl. We have just as much fun as anyone can. Mom loves you dali!!! 🙂

  8. Wanda says:

make breakfast in bed for her. At the same time, I would bring her flowers and a present: a music box with some chocolates and some seeds of sunflowers in it. Also a note to tell her how much I love her and that she’s in my heart like the sun in the sky: shining so bright that she hides other stars. There would finally be a flight ticket to Athens. We would take the plane and spend the day in Athens, eating in a very nice restaurant with sight over the city. We would on Acropolis in the evening to enjoy a very romantic atmospher and I would play the guitar for her.

  11. Sonja says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be… to just go for a long walk in the snowy mountains, where nothing but the wind blowing through the trees and and a few birds’ song could be heard, the smell of fresh air in our hair, the sun on our faces, and later a good fondue in an restaurant, early in the evening, so that we have a lot of time for just us…

  12. Alberto says:

a romantic surprise I would do for my Valentine would be invite her to the spa for massage facial and treatment take her to romantic restaurant with candle light and a bouquet of flower for her to be ready at the table.take her home thereafter and surprise her with a little diamond just to say how much I love her and…….make love allnight……..

  13. Erwin says:

Get some days of work and travel 8000km just to be with her that day ….and if that plan fails maybe il have flowers to send 🙂

  14. Pia says:

A romantic thing for me to do for him would not be the same as everybody does. For me, this valentine day, things are not the same as it was in the past. He loves me but i dont know what is his problem. But I still love him, no matter what. So I am going to tell him how much i love and care for him. We are not in the same country even, therefore i cant see him, so i will send him Flowers that i know he loves the most, then i found a cute small crystal teddy for him (looks as cute as he is). that I am going to send him with a valentine card with all my feelings into it. I have been little skeptical to write him lately….after these differences but i feel this is the day i can again show my feelings for him. Who knows he might tell me the same. But Am going to love him forever no matter what he does and where he stays and not only this year but every year on this day am going to send my feelings to him in FLOWERS….. which says the most… without speaking a word. After all love is giving…not receiving.

  15. Erika says:

My husband loves feta. And mozzarella. And cheese in general really. The only problem is that I can never fit it into our budget so we rarely have as much cheese as he would like.

My husband also likes cooking, but alas, his favorite thing to cook involves a plethora of very expensive ingredients. In fact, he made this dish when he proposed to me and it’s the last time we got to eat it together.

A romantic thing I would do for him is to buy him a deli’s worth of cheese, and all his fancy ingredients, and give him the chance to cook an elaborate meal for us. He loves expressing himself through cooking, and he loves pampering me, so this would be a very romantic thing for him.

  16. Sachin says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be……….
    to my sweet tweety…..
the smirring sunrays kiss the gentle flowers….
the naughty dwedrops slip on the lovely petals…
the romantic bees lick the nectar in them…
    ohh my sweety….
i would hold u, adore u, keep u warm, shower my love,
as i kiss you for now and forever…..
let each day be a Valentine….n’
to love you, make you smile my only wish from my heart n’ soul….
as i promise to see you again….in rio……..

  17. Cynthia McGraw says:

I have meet the most wonderful man. He is supportive, caring and thoughtful. He has never received flowers from a lady. I would like to make him feel as special as he makes me feel everyday. Please consider my entry and know the prize will be appreciated. Thank you

  18. Keri says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my Valentine…….is to make him a home made card expressing how much I love him and how much I appreciate him even though he can’t find work. My card will tell him how lucky we are to have each other in good times and now in bad times. It will remind him that I would rather hold him than to have all the money in the world. (this is something I tell him a lot) This card will go as far as to ask him on a date to our favorite patio chairs, with a bottle of (yes, you guessed it, cheap wine or in our case, a BEER) holding hands while we watch the sun set. After that, one just never knows where the evening might lead to………………………..

  19. Marina says:

Just read “Cheated & Lied” & feel so sorry for him. Hope you can come to some kind of understanding. I’ve been married for 26 years to a man who loves & adores me. I’m taking some advice from “Cheated & Lied” to tell my other 1/2 I love him very much and will add a big hug & will hang on tight for all the good times we have shared and will keep on sharing. We never did need Valentine’s Day to have a special event, we share good times whenever we are in the mood!!!!

  20. christian kyriacou says:

  22. WeaselMomma says:

Give him a massage and let him take a nap while I make his favorite dinner.

  23. Dave says:

I would take my wife shopping to her favorite stores and buy her a completely new outfit fr the evening (shoes an accessories included), have a limo arrive in the afternoon to whisk us to downtown Chicago, and board an all night dinner cruise on Lake Michigan followed up with a night at the Hotel W and breakfast in bed.

  24. Nathalie says:

I have been diagnosed with breast cancer and have been dealing with chemo for the past 2 yrs and had a mastectomy. I never wore a bthing suit or anything. My mood changed, i wasn’t myself, everything was a mess. We did not even celebrate valentine for the past 2 yrs because of all the pain and drama i had in my life. I decided this year to do something different . I wanted to surprise my husband..:( we r going to bahamas for valentine and for the first time i am wearing a bathing suit. He should be so exicted!!!

  25. Lara says:

Tell them how much I love them! Who are my Valentines this year? All the women in my life have who always been there. My mom, my sister, and my absolute best girlfriends have held my hand and offered a shoulder through it all – the bad breakups, the bad dye jobs, the loss of a pet, the loss of a friend. Everything. This Valentine’s Day, I celebrate them – with a phone call, a hug, and hopefully flowers….after all, nobody appreciates a bouqet of roses more than a woman!

  26. Crystal says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be………. Present as my juliet is overseas this is yet another year without her. I send roses all the time from Flora2000.

  27. Michael C says:

…to surprise her by showing up at her doorstep and playing/singing her favorite song for her. (I miss you by Incubus). She lives in Colombia and I live in the States so of course we do not see each other that often. I’ve been learning to play the guitar and have been taking lessons to play this song for her for almost a year now. I show up at her doorstep on Feb. 14th in Colombia unannounced, with a chair, an acoustic guitar, roses, chocolates, and champagne, she opens the door and I start playing away.

  28. Islandgirl says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be…I normally start up giving my husband a valentine’s kisses at exactly 12:01 am on Valentine’s Day. Then in the morning I cook his favorite sunny side up egg, bacon and sausage for breakfast. We would play hokey all day long and then I would arrange a surprise dinner to one of our favorite restaurant with a very nice and romantic island view. I’ll do all the maneuvering so I would park the car on about 200 yard away from the restaurant and there would be a carriage waiting to take us to the restaurant with a single rose and a glass of bubbly waiting for us. We’ll have our candle lit dinner and then go home to continue for more surprises. A table would be set up with candle under the stars and we’ll have our heart shape cheese cake dessert that I’ll bake and more bubbly to toss up the day of the hearts. Happy Valentine’s everyone!

  29. rick says:

when kisses become snowflakes then, on the 14th of february i will bring ‘HER’ a blizzard
with cataclysmic intensity ’till the stars all start to fall………

  30. mary antony says:

Leave them to find the girl of their dreams

  31. YoUr SeCrEt AdMiReR says:

write her a poem describing the beautiful feeling she makes me feel every time I hear her voice, when I look into her eyes and i see my reflection in those pretty brown eyes, what i feel when i kiss her lips and hug her tight in the middle of the night… The despair my heart feels when she is not around and we fight. I love her so much that I want her to be happy even if it is not with me.
well and I would giver her an stargazer lilie because that is one sophisticated, eccentric and sweet flower that i just love. I would take her to the beach to watch the sunrise and stay all day long there… have dinner and wait for the night to fall on us while i Hold her in my arms and whisper to her ear “I love you”
It doesn’t need to be valentine’s day to show the one I love how much she means to me. Everyday is special and the right one because She is in my life.

  32. Gary Singer says:

The most romantic thing I could do for my Valentine would be to show up at the gate to her home on the opposite side of the planet unexpectedly, with a group of local musicians playing a love song. whenn she opens the gate, I would be hidden, and the musicians would hand her 2 dozen roses (from flora2000 of course) and a note from me. When she finished reading the note, I would amazingly appear in front of her, with local transportation waiting to take us to a nice romantic dinner.

  33. scott love says:

since we are an ocean apart my romantic thing would be to able to be together just the 2 of us for more than just valentines day. i miss her very much.

  34. Billy says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be……….
The most romantic thing I could do for my fiancé right now would be to fly to Germany and surprise her. Long distance relationships are very hard and so it’s all the little things we do that keep us pushing forward till we can be together, but the absolute best and most romantic would be a surprise visit from me.

  35. Erika says:

Feed that manly ego of his with constant praise and compliments…oh wait, I’m supposed to be doing that on a daily basis. I was thinking of making him a card because I haven’t done that in ages and then making a picnic with our favorite yummies and surpise him by taking him to the drive-in since he’s never been.

  36. Gayle Brenchley says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be to pack a delicious light dinner with some salmon, caviar and champagne, also some grapes and strawberries, with fresh roses to scatter on the rug and invite him to the beach ( we’re in Australia)…we would swim, kiss and toast our luck that we are happy, healthy and enjoying life together!

  37. Marilyn Fern says:

What is more beautiful than a bouquet of flowers. It dosen’t really matter what kind they are you will still see the beauty of nature in a single flower and the whole of Mother Earth in a bouquet.

  38. Marilyn Fern says:

I am a single women and love flowers just as much as anyone. I would love to win a bouquet of flowers for Valentines Day!

  39. Sally Lim says:

That will be bowling and letting him win as many games as possible. We are on par but he just love to win over me. And then going home to hugs n kisses while watching television even after 27yrs of marriage. Here’s to more happy valentines to us.

  40. yunxiao333 says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my Valentine would be to write him a love letter in french and send him a chinese book along with the letter. He’s French and i am Chinese. I am learning french for him and he’s learning chinese for me. When the language connect each other, it may not seems romantic as rose and chocolate but you can feel the love inside your heart.

  41. Tony Mitchell says:

Propose…under a star lit sky during a midnight pic-nic…It’s what I plan on doing anyway!

  42. Balrina says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my Valentine would be ………a sensual back and shoulder massage to take away all the stress off his shoulders while burning essential oils transforms his mood and fills him with a feeling or pure indulgence so when he is over worked and stressed , he knows where to go. A relaxing foot massage for those tired soles so that when he is tensed , he knows who to walk to. A delicious home cooked meal as for when he is hungry , he knows whose door to knock. A tender kiss and hug with all my might as for when he feels lonely , he knows there is me to make him tenderly drowsy. Finally, to tell him I LOVE YOU , not to remind him ,but at times that his mind shrinks away hearing only the echoes of his voice , he knows I am there and will always be.

  43. samet kurt says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be one day when the right time comes up I mean ( requesting marrying with my love ) I will go to florida with her on 4th of july which is our first day also indepence of usa 😀 and asking her to marry with me when the fireworks start 🙂 I am always dreaming about this scene of my life. we will see 😀

  44. Marcuz Aureliuz says:

I’m not a big romantic myself but if i could do anything this valentine, it would be to come home from overseas and just be there for her. I have been away now for some time, nosed-up in my work that I often forget the very reason I am working for, which is her. And for her, I would go against common sense and any hint of self-preservation to do the things that might make her feel, even for a little, that she is the best thing that ever happened to me. To make her remember that she is my life.

  45. Let-Marie Smith says:

A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine would be … (and since i’m as romantic as cold rice pudding) I’m going to the US embassy in Pretoria to get my US Visa on Valentine’s day. I haven’t seen Josh for 20 months, and I miss him terribly. I live in South Africa, he lives in Utah – and at long last I’ve saved up enough for the trip.

    I can’t wait.

  46. suryyendu says:

This year it’s gonna be the most special and memorable one for us. Though in love for more than 4 years now, we could not celebrate this day together as we had to stay in seperate cities owing to our commitments towards work / carrier building. Moreover as we are scheduled to marry this year, 14/2/2009 will be the only one opportunity to us to celebrate as an unmarried couple !

Hence I rest my case. On this 14th feb, I’ll go mad and will love to do everthing for my lady love. Once more, I ‘ll promise her that i’ll take immense care of her, will live a sweet and holy life, full of fun and happiness. No, I cannot promise her a trip to the moon, but sure will promise a journey of love, understanding, trust, happiness, caring and sharing throughout.

I love her lotz. She is so precious to me….. I’ll pray to the Almighty that love prevails between all the valentines and keeps on growing !

  47. A Romantic thing I would do for my valentine (my husband) would be .. send him flowers to his workplace, and in the message card, i’ll put – From, Who Else … 😉

I mean who says only men can send flowers. I’ve been receiving flowers from him for my birthday and valentines, and i appreciate it each time. I’ve been thinking of sending him flowers this time, to his workplace. it’ll be a complete surprise ’cause I’ve never done it before and hopefully it’ll be memorable and will make him feel that I do love him all these years. And i’ve kind’a been curious how a grown man react to receiving flowers. But i just know, he’s going to appreciate it. I just know that he will show it off to his co-workers. Hopefully he would not find out beforehand by going thru our bank statement 😉

great contest. i hope to win…

  48. elizabeth c ziegler says:

When my daughter was just 5 years old she told me she wanted to be a teacher. We played school daily and of course you know who was the student (ME). Well, she is 31 years old now and is teaching at an International School in Germany. When ever I can I send her flowers (I’m in Arizona) thanks to your internet sight your beautiful flowers carry my love all the way to Germany. Thank you for making that possible. She always says the flowers and service is wonderful. Keep up the great work…Happy Valentines Day to each one of you.

  49. Andy says:

My fiance and I live 7,500 miles apart so sadly we cannot do all the romantic things like cooking, cuddling up, watching movies together every Valentines day but thanks to Flora2000 I can do what is still the most romantic gesture – send some flowers to the one I love. We actually met on Valentines Day 2007 so it is an extra special day for us. (I have tears streaming even as I write this)
