Floral Orbs

March 20^th is the Spring Equinox, a moment in time when the sun is directly over the equator and length of the day and night is nearly equal at any point on earth.

For those of us in the northern latitudes this marks the beginning of spring and the warmer, sunnier days to follow. How Grand! I think it’s time for a party.

An equinox party should have a celestial theme. Planetary orbs of carnations in spring are perfect. Arrange them on a field of cut up carnations stems. Your guests will be amazed by the floral orbs. The drink of the evening is vodka martinis and for dessert, Moon Pies, of course.
