Eid-ul-Fitr, also commonly known as Eid is one of the main festivals of the Muslims but is celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm by people of all faiths and religions across many nations. This year, the festival of Eid will be celebrated on 20^th August 2012 worldwide. After observing an austere and a highly disciplined schedule during the holy month of fasting, Eid is welcomed as the occasion full of celebration and rejoicing.
